Joel Scott finished his historic 2022-23 season as the NCAA DII Double-Double Statistical Champion, with 16.
His 16 double-doubles this season was tied with four others in the nation for the DII lead. His 21 double-doubles in the 2021-22 season ranked third in the nation, and he finishes his Yellow Jacket career with 44 double-double games, including a 20+ double-double on Dec. 10, 2022 at Colorado School of Mines.
Among national ranks, he finished the season second in total field goals (290), points (805) and rebounds (337), while leading the RMAC in eight different categories and finishing top-3 in 13 categories. For his career, he ended as the active NCAA career points leader with his 2,457 points, also the all-time scoring record at BHSU.
