GOLDEN, Colo. – Black Hills State women's soccer dropped it's Friday night match to No. 20 Colorado Mines, 8-0.
The Yellow Jackets (3-5, 1-2 RMAC) saw shots on goal from
Makaiah Carlson and
Katy Vinton on the day.
Goalkeeper
Morgan Wood tallied nine saves.
The Orediggers scored twice in the opening 10 minutes of the game to take an early 2-0 lead.
Carlson put up a shot on goal in 17th minute, but CSM extended their lead to 3-0 with a goal in the 27th minute.
Two more goals in the 34th and 42nd minute gave the Orediggers a 5-0 lead at the break.
Despite a Vinton shot on goal in the 58th minute, CSM played add-on in the second half as they went on to win 8-0.
