RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men's and women's cross country teams saw all six runners finish within the top-10 on Saturday afternoon at the Bauer XC Classic, hosted by South Dakota Mines at the Hart Ranch Golf Club. Highlighting the top performances of the day for the Yellow Jackets was
Norah Entzi who won the women's 6K race and paced a trio of Yellow Jackets that swept the top-3 places in the meet, while
Caden Strasser led the way on the men's side with a career-best 8K time and his first-ever top-5 finish as he crossed the line fourth overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED – MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
- Leading the Black Hills State duo on Saturday morning was Caden Strasser, who ran to a career-best 8K time of 27:09.1 for his first-ever top-5 finish of fourth place.
- Less than ten seconds behind Strasser was Wyatt Ostler, who notched his second career top-10 finish as he clocked a time of 27:18.6 for seventh place.

HOW IT HAPPENED – WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
- Leading the way for the top-3 sweep for the Yellow Jacket women at the Hart Ranch Golf Club was Norah Entzi, who earned her first career victory as she crossed the finish line with a 6K time of 25:05.1.
- Following Entzi and earning their first-ever top-5 finishes were Brynn Hillman Brooklyn Brooks who notched times of 25:50.2 and 26:19.4 respectively for second and third.
- Rounding out the quartet of Black Hills State runners and giving the Green & Gold four of the top-5 place finishers was Kadence Baun, who notched a 6K time of 28:13.4 for a career-best finish of fifth place.

Black Hills State will be back in action once again this upcoming weekend on Saturday, November 9, as they are set to compete at the NCAA Division II Cross Country South-Central Regional in Denver, Colorado. The men's 10K race will begin at 10 a.m., while the women's 6K race will start at 11:15 a.m. at Washington Park.
