SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State University triathlon team is set to host the 2024 Black Hills State Tri-Fest on Sunday, April 21. There will be three races – two individual choices and a relay choice – and registration is open until Friday, April 19.
 
Community members, the BH community, and anyone who wants to take part, can choose between three different races:

• Draft Legal Sprint (individual) & Relays: Rolling 500m swim start, 2-loop 25k bike, 2-loop 5k run (10:00 AM)
• Super Sprint: Rolling 250m swim start, 1-loop 15k bike, 1-loop 1.5-mile run (10:30 AM)

 
The awards ceremony will be at noon (12:00 p.m.) and will be awarded to the top-3 males and top-3 females in each sprint (Draft Legal & Super) and the top relay team.
 
Three BHSU teams will participate in this year's relay: football, men's basketball, and volleyball.
