HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME 1
•    There was only one hit until the third inning when CSU Pueblo singled with two outs in the top half of the inning. Cali Cole flew out to the end the inning, but it was dropped and Taylor Bower advanced to third and tried to go home but was tagged out at the plate to keep this game scoreless.
•    In the bottom of the fourth, BHSU got their first hit of the game, when Lily Simmons hit a leadoff single. Tyler Whitlock followed her with a single of her own to get Simmons to second, but in a double steal attempt, Simmons was tagged out at third. After Desi Hernandez walked, she and Whitlock advanced to second and third on a passed ball, before a wild pitch scored Whitlock and brought Hernandez to third to give BHSU the 1-0 lead. Three straight walks to Ashlynn Pauwels, Alyssa Wong, and Audrey Fouras allowed Hernandez to come home and make it a 2-0 game, but that was all BHSU could get.
•    No one scored in the fifth, but in the top of the sixth with one out, Pueblo's Cali Cole hit a deep home run to left field to put CSU Pueblo on the board and cut the lead to 2-1. In the bottom half, BHSU's first two batters, Pauwels and Wong, flied out and struck out bringing up Audrey Fouras, who on a 2-2 count, sent a ball deep to left field over the wall for a home run to give BHSU much needed breathing room at 3-1.
•    In the top of the 7th, Laci Peskey was able to get Caitlyn Cole to strike out before giving up another solo home run to Emma Case to bring the score to 3-2. She then induced a groundout, walked the next CSU Pueblo batter and struck out Darleen Falcon to end the game at 3-2, giving Peskey her seventh win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED- GAME 2
•    CSU Pueblo had only had one batter reach base heading into the fifth inning. Caitlyn Cole was able to walk and steal second. Hoff walked another batter, before the pitcher James singled on a bunt to load the bases with one out. After striking out the next batter, Hoff allowed a bases loaded walk to Cali Cole to give Pueblo the first lead again at 1-0. BHSU, who had only had two hits up to this point, answered back. They loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom half of the inning, but James responded by inducing a fielder's choice that got the runner out at home and then striking out Simmons. Whitlock was unable to bat in a runner and BHSU left the bases full and the score at 1-0 ThunderWolves.
•    Despite a chance in the sixth inning, BHSU could not get Pauwels home from third with one out and BHSU headed into the final inning down 1-0.
•    Hoff went 1-2-3 in the seventh, leading to the bottom half of the inning where Wong walked to leadoff. Dowden hit a sacrifice bunt to advance Wong to second and Lily Simmons hit a crucial double to score Wong and tie the game at 1-1. Whitlock grounded out to advance Simmons to third and Desi Hernandez stepped up to the plate. With the count at 2-2, Hernandez hit a soft grounder right to the pitcher that went off the pitcher's foot and Simmons reached home for the walk-off win. It was BHSU's first walk-off win of the season.
