AZUSA, Calif. – Representing the Black Hills State University track & field program among the best multis athletes across the nation, Conor McGraw currently sits 13^th in section C among 16 competitors at the Bryan Clay Multis, tallying 3,279 points. Competing against 12 NCAA Division I athletes, he collected top-10 finishes in three events and posted season-best outdoor times and marks in two events.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Conor McGraw started the day with his best finish of today's five decathlon events, running to a sixth place finish in the 100m dash with a season-best time of 11.37.
• In the long jump he recorded a season-best outdoor mark of 5.94m (19' 6") for 16^th place in the group.
• He found his way back into the top-10 with a throw of 12.02m (39' 5.25") in the shot put for tenth place.
• Clearing a height of 1.73m (5' 8"), he posted a 14^th place finish in the high jump.
• He ended the day with his third top-10 mark of the afternoon, clocking a time of 51.48 for seventh place in the 400m dash.

Conor McGraw will conclude his competition this week in the decathlon at the Bryan Clay Multis Friday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. MT (12 p.m. PT) at the Cougar Athletic Stadium in Azusa, California. Additionally, the remainder of the Black Hills State track & field teams are set to compete Friday on The Blue Oval of Drake Stadium at the Jim Duncan Invitational, with field events beginning at 11:30 a.m. MT (12:30 p.m. CT) and track events starting at 1 p.m. MT (2 p.m. CT).
