SAN ANGELO, Texas – The 2025-26 RMAC Player of the Year,
Cam Lowe, brings in another postseason accolade on Thursday morning, being recognized by the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) as First Team All-South Central Region. The honor marks his second career all-region honor after receiving a second team selection a year ago as a freshman. Lowe is one of three RMAC players selected to the first team, and four in total from the league.
During his sophomore campaign, Lowe has averaged 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. He enters the NCAA Tournament with 26 double digit scoring performances this season, and 14 20-point performances. In January he scored a career-high 31 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the field and 7-of-10 shooting from 3-point range against Colorado Mesa. He has connected on three or more 3-pointers 15 times this year. Nationally in NCAA Division II this season he currently ranks 20
th in 3-point percentage (41.4%), is 28
th in total 3-pointers made (84), and is 46
th in 3-pointers per game (2.71). He connected on his 100
th career 3-pointer against Regis and has since brought his career 3-point shooting up to 148-of-365 (40.5%). In the Yellow Jackets match-up with New Mexico Highlands he grabbed a season-best 11 rebounds, marking his first of two double-doubles of the year as he added 12 points. The match-up with NMHU was one of 20 games thus far in 2025-26 with six or more boards. He closed out the RMAC Men's Basketball Tournament by surpassing 1,000 career points in the victory over the Mavericks, becoming the second Yellow Jacket to reach the milestone this season as he now stands at 1,008 points scored in 61 career games played.
