Black Hills State Women’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

SPEARFISH, S.D. - The Black Hills State University women's soccer program and head coach, John Hutchison, announced the 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon. The schedule consists of 18 matches, 12 RMAC fixtures, and nine of which are set to be played at home at the Black Hills Power Sports Complex. 

The season kicks off at home under the lights of the Black Hills Power Complex on Thursday, August 27, with an in-state battle against Sioux Falls. The Yellow Jackets then complete the opening weekend of play with a neutral site contest against Minnesota Crookston, playing the Golden Eagles at the Black Hills Surgical Sports Complex in Rapid City on Saturday, August 29. It will be the Green & Gold's first match played in Rapid City since a 2-2 draw against Adams State in 2021. 

The month of September begins with a trip west for BHSU, as they travel to Billings, Montana, to partake in the Rimrock Classic, hosted by Montana State Billings, for the eighth time in program history. In the classic the Green & Gold will face UMary on Thursday, September 3, and MSU Moorhead on Saturday, September 5. The following week will then be a battle of the Yellow Jackets, as Montana State Billings makes the trip to Spearfish for a Friday, September 11, match-up. 

RMAC action also is set to begin at home with a Friday, September 18, battle against New Mexico Highlands, and a Sunday, September 20, contest with Adams State. The month of September will then conclude with road trips to Colorado School of Mines on Friday, September 25, and CSU Pueblo on Sunday, September 27. 

The final month of the regular season will then open with back-to-back home games against UCCS on Friday, October 2, and Colorado Mesa on Sunday, October 4. Following the pair of home match-ups, it will be back-to-back weekends on the road, consisting of four straight games away from Spearfish. The stretch will begin in the Denver metro area against Colorado Christian on Friday, October 9, and at MSU Denver on Sunday, October 11. The backend of road trip will feature a trip to the Western Slope of Colorado, traveling to Fort Lewis on Friday, October 16, and Western Colorado on Sunday, October 18. The regular season is set to end with three consecutive matches at the Black Hills Power Sports Complex as the Yellow Jackets host Westminster on Friday, October 23, Dakota State in a non-conference match on Sunday, October 25, and Regis on Wednesday, October 28. 

The RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament will again feature the top-8 teams in the conference standings at the end of the regular season. The tournament begins with the first round on Friday, October 30, the quarterfinals will be on Sunday, November 1, the semifinals will be on Wednesday, November 4, and the championship will be on Saturday, November 7. All tournament games will be played at campus sites.
