Biography

2012: RMAC Academic Honor Roll selection…best finishes in the cross country season came at the BHSU home opener where she finished 10th (18:09.72)…best 6K time of the season was at Roy Griak Invite (26:22.7)...indoor she ran a PR in the mile of 5:50.11…outdoor she ran a season best time in the 800m of 2:25.74.

2011: Redshirted cross country and indoor….

2010:  Yanchek ran a season best time of 19:45 at the Montana State University-Billings Invitational…indoor she earned All-American honors as a member of the Distance Medley Relay team that finished 4th at the NAIA National Meet …this performance was also a school record…outdoor Anna ran season best times of 2:24.26 in the open 800m and 5:23.41 in the 1500m run.

High School & Personal Data: Anna graduated from Cheyenne Central HS in 2009…she was an All-Conference cross country selection in 2007…was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track and field…earned All-State honors in the 4x800m relay in 2008…Yanchek is planning to pursue a degree in Exercise Science…she is the daughter of Dave and Jean Yanchek.
