2017 RMAC Academic Honor Roll

2019: Competed in five meets … finished 23rd in the 5K at the UCCS XC Open (10/12) … placed 49th in the 6K at the RMAC Cross Country Championships (10/26) and 80th at the NCAA DII South Central Region Cross Country Championships (11/9).

2018: Ran in six meets … placed 15th in the 5K at the SD Mines Hardrocker Cross Country Classic (9/1) … finished 14th in the 3.73M at the NCAA DII West Region Preview (10/12) … placed 62nd in the 6K at the RMAC Cross Country Championships (11/3) … competed at the NCAA DII South Central Region Cross Country Championships (11/17).

2017: Competed in three meets … finished a season-best 19th at the Yellowjacket Classic (10/7).

2016: Raced in seven meets … had a season-best finish of 11th at the Gage McSpadden Invitational (9/9) with a time of 17:33.5 … placed 16th at the MSU-Billings Open (10/8) with a time of 19:38.0.

Before BHSU: Named to the All-Conference team three times … competed in five state track and cross country meets … placed 21^st in 2013 at the cross country meet and placed eighth in the 3,200 meter run in 2015 for track … career bests in 5k (19:51), 4k (14:55), 3,200 meter run (12:28), 1,600 meter run (5:39) … named to the All-Conference team for volleyball … qualified for state gymnastics six times … finished in eighth at the state gymnastics meet … three time recipient of Women in Sports Award … Academic All-State honoree for four sports … daughter of Kim and Scott Van Den Hemel … three siblings, Kyla, Seth and Shay.
