Before BHSU: Played in 74 varsity games over three years … averaged 16.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists in career … in senior year, averaged 19.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game … totaled nearly 1,200 points and 700 rebounds during his time at WHS … finished high school career as all-time leading rebounder, top-3 all-time in points, and top-5 all-time in assists … was a team captain his sophomore, junior and senior seasons … helped his team to the State Tournament his sophomore and junior seasons … as a senior. Played in the 3-Class Shootout All-Star Game, SDBCA All-Star Game, Great Plains All-Star Game and RISE All-Star Game … also played varsity football, helping his school to twice win the state championship, and twice finish runner up- … senior year he was a team captain and was named All-Conference and All-State Defensive Back.
