HONORS AND AWARDS
RMAC Women's Golfer of the Week (9-26-2024)

2024-25 (Junior): She played in all 19 rounds and nine tournaments for the Jackets this year…Averaged 83.3 per round…Fifth lowest per round average since joining the RMAC…She had four top ten finishes and two top five finishes…First player since 2018-19 season with four top ten finishes in a season…Started off the year with three 36-hole rounds under +20…Shot her low 36-hole round in the first tournament of the season, shooting a 160 (+16) at the Swan Memorial with two rounds of 80 (+8)…That score put her in a tie for 10th all-time for 36-hole score…Followed that up with a 12th place finish at the Hardrocker Spring Invite where she shot 163 (+19) with rounds of 82 (+10) and 81 (+9)…Finished third at the Black Hills State Classic with a 161 (+17) and broke 80 for the first time in her BHSU career, shooting 79 (+7) in round one of the tournament…Her performance got her an RMAC Player of the Week, which was the first time since 2014-15 that a BHSU Women’s Golfer has won that award…She immediately had another top 10 at the Marauder’s Tournament, when she shot 164 (+20) with an 80 (+8) on day two…She had another top 10 finish at the Hardrocker Spring Invite, when she shot an 81 (+9) on day two to move her into a seventh place finish…She finished her regular season with the best finish of the season when she ended at second at the DWU Spring Invite, where she shot a 161 (+17)…She shot a career-low round at DWU when she shot a 76 in round one, which put her in a tie for fifth all-time for single round score…At the RMAC Championships, she finished in 40th place with a 252 (+36), this included an 82 (+10) on day two of the tournament…Her 54-hole score puts her in fifth all-time.

2023-24 (Sophomore): Jorgenson played in seven of the eight tournaments this year with an average round score of 88.8…She broke 90 ten times this season, including during a dominant SMSU Classic where she shot a 36-hole career best of 166 (+22) and a career-best 18-hole score of 80 (+8) in round two of the tournament, which led her to a 37th place finish…She also had an 18th place finish at the Hardrocker Spring Invitational, where she shot 89 (+18), 89 (+18) each day for a 178 (+36)…Had a 41st place finish at the RMAC Championships where she led the team with a 253 (+37) and shot 86 (+14) or better all three days of the tournament including an 83 (+11) in round one.

2022-23 (Freshman): Competed in all four fall tournaments for BHSU… shot 265 (+49) at the Swan Memorial Invitational to place in a tie for 79th… Tied for 30th at the Fall Hardrocker Invite after shooting 189 (+45)… placed 60th at the Westminster Wasatch Invite as she shot 263 (+47)… shot her best round at the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational as she placed 17th after shooting 167 (+23), which was a season low for her… Competed in all three tournaments for the Yellow Jackets in the spring… placed eighth at the Hardrocker Spring Invite after shooting 185 (+41)… shot 92 (+20) at the Tatanka Spring Invite to place in a tie for 15th… finished 53rd at the 2023 RMAC Women’s Golf Championship after recording a 272 (+56).
 
Before BHSU: During her sophomore at Sheridan High School, Jorgenson was named to the varsity team for the fall season and placed third overall after play offs in the fall… As a junior she earned a third-place finish in the fall and a second-place finish in the spring after playoffs… Jorgenson also helped lead her team to the State Championship her junior year, earning an All-Conference placement… she earned a season best score of 79 in the fall while earning a first-place finish as well as a senior… named to the All-State team for the fall of her senior year and earned a spot to compete at nationals in June of 2022.
