PREP: A 4-year letterwinner and starter for head coach Matt Littleton at Chaparral High School, Crosby has emerged not only as one of the top specialists in the state of Colorado but in the nation. Ranked as the No. 1 punter in the state and No. 2 in the country via MaxPreps stat leaders, he earned Sports Illustrated All-American honors as he averaged 50.4 yards per punt on 40 attempts, including a long of 82 yards and seven pinned inside of the opponent’s 20-yard line. He ended his prep career with 118 punt attempts and an average of 42.6 yards per punt. Additionally, he recorded 92 kickoff attempts with an average of 45.2 yards per kick, went 61-of-65 on extra point attempts, and was 5-of-10 on field goal attempts with a long of 49 yards during his prep career. Crosby was a Second Team All-CHSAA Class 5A selection in 2024 and was an Honorable Mention All-CHSAA Class 5A selection in 2023. Mason is the son of Heather and Les Crosby. He has three siblings, Madelyn, Everly, and Emma Crosby, who is currently a pitcher for the Wagner College softball program.
