Biography

PREP
Phillipps arrives in Spearfish as a 2-year letterwinner and starter, and a senior captain for Millennium High School and head coach Lamar Early. In each of the last two seasons he was named Class 5A Desert West All-Region, as he helped pave the way for the team’s running back who was named 2025 AIA Conference 5A Co-Offensive Player of the Year. He helped the Tigers to get back to the AIA Conference 5A playoffs during his senior campaign as they went 7-4. Zach is the son of Kari and Shane Phillipp, and he has three siblings, Sidney, Amanda, and Samantha. His mother Kari was a student-athlete at the University of Mary from 1992-96.
