PREP: Wasden is another key piece to a new Yellow Jacket pipeline in Arizona as a versatile 4-year letterwinner and starter, and 1-year captain for head coach Josh Goodloe at Paradise Honors High School. He received AIA 3A Metro West All-Region honors all four seasons of his prep career, including a first team selection in 2021 as a defensive lineman, and three times was a second team pick as he played defensive line in 2022, linebacker in 2023, and defensive back in 2024. Wasden played a pivotal role in the success of the Panthers over the four year stretch, helping the team post a record of 31-16, highlighted by three Arizona AIA Conference 3A State Playoff runs and a title game appearance in 2023 when the team went 11-3. Caden is the son of Travis Wasden and Jaime Wasden-Ryum, and he has seven siblings, Chris, Zack, Colt, Cody, Ethan, Hailey, and Taylor.
