Biography

2012: Strand finished ninth on his home course and ran 21:51.66 over the 6K distance…indoor ran 2:00.96 for 800m at the Dave Little Invite…outdoor did not compete.

2011: 29th place finisher at the USF Independent Cross Country Championships (28:56.1)…indoor won the 800m (1:58.47) at the Indoor Independent Championships…ran a 1:57.01 in the 800m and was ninth on the BH All-Time list…outdoor finished in 2nd at the Bauer invite.

2010:  Did not compete in cross country…indoor was a DAC Champion in the 4x800m relay…finished 8th in the 800 at the DAC Championships (2:04.89)…outdoor he placed 5th at the DAC Championships in the 800m (1:58.23) and 7th in the 4 x 400m relay.

High School and Personal Data: Strand was a three sport athlete at Campbell County High School in Gillette, WY… he earned varsity letters in cross country (1), indoor track and field (3) and outdoor track and field (4)…was a five-time All-State track athlete…parents are Quentin & Sherrie Strand.
