2013-2014 Indoor – At the YJ Open he placed 5th in the 60h with a time of 8.91… Eric won the Myrle Hanson Memorial Open in the 60h with a time of 8.93, and he placed 5th in the 60m with a time of 7.62… At the Dave Little Alumni Mile he placed 6th in the 60h with a time of 8.71, and 11th in the 200m with a time of 23.8… Eric placed 8th in the 60h at the Chadron State Twilight meet with a time of 10.21… He placed 11th at the Eagles Jackets Invite in the 200m with a time of 23.76… At the 2014 Rock Open he won the 60h with a time of 8.84…
2014 Outdoor - At the YJ Spring Opener Eric placed 8th in the 200m with a time of 23.46, he also place 5th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.9… At the Loper Invite he placed 5th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.44 and he placed 21st in the 200m with a time of 23.55… He placed 7th with a time of 58.7 in the 400 hurdles at the Mines Invite, as well as 3rd in the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.61… At the Battlin Bears Invite Eric placed 7th in the 400m with a time of 53.11 and he placed 4th in the 110h with a time of 17.15… At the Jack Christianson Invite he placed 6th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.71 and he placed 17th in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:00.49… At the RMAC Championship Eric placed 7th in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.56…
High School and Personal Data: Eric was a two sport athlete at Highmore Harrold High where he earned varsity letters in basketball and track…named 4 time State Qualifier in Cross Country, All-Conference for 2 years, 2009 qualified for state track in 4 by 4, Medley, 110 H, 2010 placed 6th at state track in the 300 H, 2011 qualified for state track in 100, 200, 110H, 300H, 2011 Placed 4th at state track in 300 H, 2010 and 2011 State Champion in the 110 H – Undefeated for those 2 years, Hold school record in the 110H, and Received academic All State honors in 2011…son of Mark Chilson and Lonna Balster-Chilson…intended major Exercise Science.
