Biography

2012: Ulvestad had four top ten finishes for the Yellow Jackets his junior season…he was the Jackets #2 runner at the Roy Griak Invite where he ran 26:55 for 8K and finished 49th overall…he was 46th at the RMAC Cross Country Championships and ran 27:28.10…indoor ran personal bests in the 3000m and 1500m races…he competed in the 5000m at the Indoor Conference Championships…outdoor he bettered his indoor 5000m time by over a minute and was the lone Jacket to compete in the 10,000 at the RMAC championships, where he ran a personal best time of 33:49.97.

2011: 16th place finisher at the USF Independent Cross Country Championships (27:13.9)...indoor was runner-up in the 3000m at the Independent Championships (9:07.89)…outdoor placed fourth in the grueling 10,000m run at the DAC Championships.

2010: Finished in 10th at the DAC CC Championships (27:56)… indoor he just missed scoring in the 5000m at the indoor DAC Championships, finishing ninth in 17:22.90…outdoor he placed 4th at the DAC Championships in the 10000m (34:44.93).

High School and Personal Data: Ulvestad graduated from Sheridan High School in Wyoming in 2010…he was a three sport athlete in track, cross country and swimming…received four varsity letters in cross country and outdoor track, two in indoor track and one in swimming… Ulvestad was a State Champ in indoor track in 2010 and All-Conference in cross country in 2009…he is majoring in social sciences...his grandparents are David & Mary Fisher…mother is Cydney Ulvestad.
