2013-2014 Indoor – At the Myrle Hanson Memorial Open he placed 4th in the weight throw with a toss of 13.30 meters… Jake competed in the shot put and weight throw at the NSU Open placing 8th in the shot put with a throw of 11.71 and he placed 8th in the weight throw with a toss of 13.21 meters… At the Dave Little Alumni Mile he placed 17th in the weight throw with a toss of12.35 meters… Jake placed 9th in the weight throw at the Chadron State Twilight meet posting a throw of 11.99 meters… At the Eagle and Jackets Invite he placed 18th in the weight throw with a toss of 11.61 meters… At the 2014 Rock Open Jake competed in the weight throw and the shot put. He had a toss of 12.33 in the weight throw placing him 5th and he placed 8th in the shot put with a throw of 12.29 meters… At the RMAC Championships Jake placed 15th in the shot put with a throw of 12.33 meters…
