PREP: Wahlman will reunite with former high school teammate and fellow Alaskan, Sebastian O’Farrell next fall when he joins the Yellow Jackets after a high school career that included being a 4-year letterwinner and starter, and a 2-year captain for head coach Kahlil Bolling at Robert Service High School. Highlighting his prep career was recognition in 2023 as not only a first team all-conference defensive back and wide receiver but earning recognition at both positions as an all-state selection. His junior campaign saw him haul in 720 receiving yards, average 21.8 yards per catch, and record ten touchdowns, while on the defensive side of the ball he notched 98 total tackles, 12 tackles-for-loss, three forced fumbles, and four interceptions. Throughout his four seasons with the Cougars, he amassed a total of 183 tackles, seven interceptions, four forced fumbles, and 14.5 tackles-for-loss as he helped the program to four consecutive appearances in the ASAA First National Bowl State Championships, including a state semifinal appearance in 2023. Caleb is the son of Greg Wahlman, and Jane and Joel Wagner. He has two siblings, Cai and Jacob Wahlman.
