Before attending Mesa Community College, she attended American Leadership Academy of Queen Creek, where she was team captain her senior year and was a 3-year starter…Her senior year, she finished with 170 kills and a team leading 56 total blocks, while leading her team with a .292 hitting percentage under head coach Brad Hekekia…She played club volleyball for Spiral Volleyball Club in Chandler, Arizona…Abril graduated Magna Cum Laude from ALA-QC and majored in American Sign Language at MCC…She is the daughter of John and Jennifer Wagner and is married to Carson Abril…She has four siblings: Pierce, Sierra, Gabe, and Maxwell…Her husband Carson played two years of tennis at Mesa Community College, and her brother Gabe is the associate head volleyball coach at Southern Virginia University.
