PREP AND PERSONAL: Nikki was a four-year varsity letter winner for her efforts on the softball diamond for the Greeley Central HS Wildcats in Greeley, CO where she also played basketball...Nikki played pitcher, first base and outfield in her time with the Wildcats and was named to the All-Conference teams in 2007 and 20008...named softball MVP and academic all-conference in 2008...her favorite athlete is Andre Castilla...her mom's chicken alfredo is her favorite...loves The Hunger Games books...siblings are Natalie, Michael and James...daughter of Tammy Hermance...majoring in Math Education/ELL Endoresment.

Personal Life:

Nikki is a sophomore at Black Hills State University where she is majoring in Secondary Math Education. Chacon is the daughter of Tammy Hermance and has two brothers; Michael and James and one sister Natalie. When she is not participating in softball she enjoys art and her favorite food is chicken alfredo.

2011-2012:

Nikki pitched in 19 games, and started 6 of them on the mound for the Lady Jackets. She finished the year with a record of 2-4 as a starter, with an earned run average of 8.40. She also finished with a batting average of .154 for the season.
