Before BH: Albers enters her first season with the track and field program at Black Hills State University as a transfer. While at Winona State, in 2012 Albers had no indoor season …outdoor she placed 6^th in long jump, 3^rd in 100m, 3^rd in 4x100…named 2011 freshman MVP, placed 2^nd indoor/outdoor, and All-Academic 2013 standing team… Team honors include first team All-Conference, and Conference title 4x100…personal bests include 2^nd in long jump at conference, placed 5^th  in 100m at conference, and placed 1^st in 4x100 at conference

High School and Personal Data: Albers earned four varsity letters in both volleyball and track…named State Long Jump Champion in 2010 and holds Spearfish HS record for long jump at 19’3.25”, and All-Academic 2011-2013…Team honors include State long jump record holder 2010-2012, and first female athlete to jump 19’ in South Dakota…career stats include personal best for long jump 19’3.25, 100m 12.27, 200m 25.5…intended major Exercise Science (Pre-PT)…daughter of Jhett and Kathy Albers.
