Thomas played in all 26 matches and 96 sets for the Yellow Jackets…She led the team in digs with 437 marking 4.55 digs per set…added 27 aces, which was second on the team and 57 assists…Finished with 10 or more digs in 22 of the 26 games, while finishing with over 20 nine times…Had a BHSU career high 31 digs versus New Mexico Highlands in a five set thriller, while setting her career high in service aces at five in the opening match of the season versus Minot State...Earned 2024 CSC Academic All-District.

She played in 59 matches in and 208 sets over the two seasons with Northwest College in Wyoming…She finished with just under 1000 digs for the Trappers, and also added 97 aces...She led the team in both stats each year and set a Northwest College record for digs in a game with 34 against Rocky Mountain JV…Played prep volleyball at Thunder Basin in Gillette, Wyoming…In her senior year, Thomas was named Wyoming 4A’s Defensive Player of the Year…She was named to the All-State Team and First Team All-Conference… Helped lead Thunder Basin to a third-place finish in the state championship… The 5’6” Libero is the Thunder Basin record holder for digs in a season with 517…Was a four-time Academic All-State selection as well… Ellie is the daughter of Mandy and Terry Thomas, and has two siblings, Cole and Jaysie.
