Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University
men's basketball team defeated Rocky Mountain 82-65 Friday
evening at the Donald E. Young Center in Spearfish, S.D.
“Tonight was a total team effort,” said head coach
Bradd Schafer. “We out rebounded them and shot 91% from the
free throw line, Will John Johnson really set the tone for us
tonight. I'm very proud of our team.”
The Yellow Jackets were led by the big men down low, senior Will
John Johnson finished the contest with 22 points, 15 rebounds and
three assists. Senior Luke Enos finished the contest with 16
points, nine rebounds and two assists. Seniors Cain Atkinson and
Spencer Childress each netted 12 points.
Black Hills State will return to action Saturday, November 13 as
they take on Montana Tech, tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. MT
