Minot, N.D. – The Black Hills State University volleyball
team defeated Minot State 3-0 on Friday night in Minot, N.D. to
remain undefeated in conference play..
The Yellow Jackets won the first set 25-23. In the second
set, Black Hills State found themselves down 16-23 before rallying
to win 32-30. Black Hills State would finish off Minot State
in the third set 25-16. The Yellow Jackets move to 8-12
overall and 3-0 in the Dakota Athletic Conference with the victory
over the Beavers.
“The team played well tonight,” said head coach
Jennifer Weitzel. “The ladies are starting to see how
successful they can be when they come together as a unit and
control a match,”
Black Hills State will return to the court on Saturday for a
matchup with Dickinson State in Dickinson, N.D. The match is
slated to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
