Women's Basketball Winning Streak Snapped By Jamestown

Jamestown, N.D. – The No. 5 Black Hills State University women's basketball team fell to Jamestown 83-63 Friday night in Jamestown, N.D. to snap the Yellow Jackets' 12-game winning streak.

Bayley Chevron came off the bench to lead the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 18 points.  Katelynn Lamb put up 16 points in the loss.  Black Hills State could not stop the hot shooting of the Jimmies.  Jamestown shot over 54% from the floor.

With the loss, Black Hills State falls to 18-4 overall and 8-1 in the Dakota Athletic Conference.

The Yellow Jackets will face Valley City State on Saturday, February 5 in Valley City, N.D.  Game time is set for 4 p.m. CT/3 p.m. MT.  The broadcast can be heard locally on KDSJ 980 AM or online at www.kdsj980.com.
