Lakewood, Colo. – The Black Hills State volleyball team snapped its three-game win streak with a loss to Colorado Christian on Friday night.
The Yellow Jackets lost by the same 22-25 score in all three sets (22-25, 22-25, 22-25).
Meghan Sipe led the Jackets with a team-high 11 kills and added eight digs. Kylee Lamb had another solid all-around performance with five kills, four digs and four blocks.
Kelsey Olson led BHSU with a team-high 14 digs and Darbi Yost added 25 assists.
Andi Weber and Ali Weber led the Cougars to victory with 15 and 10 kills, respectively. This was Colorado Christian's seventh straight-win.
"Our ladies fought hard tonight as we faced a very good opponent in Colorado Christian. The Weber sisters played a great match and were too much for us to overcome," said head coach Sally Nichols.
The Yellow Jackets will play Colorado School of Mines tomorrow at 5 p.m.
