GOLDEN, Colo. - The winning streak went up to seven games for the Colorado School of Mines (29-4-1, 20-2 RMAC), as the no. 13 ranked team nationally, won all four games over the Yellow Jacket softball team over this last weekend.

Pitching was the story for Mines in Sunday's games that resulted in two more victories for the Mountain Lions as they won 7-1 in game-one and 6-1 in game-two.

The Yellow Jackets' lone score in game-one came by the bat of CF Allie Alverson, after an RBI-single to left field scored C Sara Schmid.  In game-two, a pinch-hit RBI single by Joanna Schriver scored C Sara Schmid to avoid the shut-out in the sixth inning.
