DENVER, Colo.—The Black Hills State University volleyball team close the 2015 season with a three-game road stand. First on the docket for the Yellow Jackets was Regis University. The Rangers entered Friday night's contest with three wins in their previous four matches.
The Yellow Jackets fell to Regis University 3-0 on October 10 at the Young Center.
BHSU have only mustered one victory in their previous seven matches. The Yellow Jackets couldn't break that trend in a 3-0 loss to Regis University. The loss drops BHSU's record to 7-17, 4-12 RMAC while Regis improves to 15-10, 12-4 RMAC.

The Rangers opened set one with a reckless abandon and never looked back in a 25-11 win.
Three Shelby Mayer kills propelled BHSU to an 8-1 lead in set two. Danielle Torpey had a hand in two more kills to widen the Yellow Jacket lead to 13-4 before Regis slowly came from behind.
Errors throughout the middle of set two haunted the Yellow Jackets as Regis tied the set for the first time at 15-15.
The Yellow Jackets and Rangers traded leads twice before things were tied up again 24-24. A Rachael McCue kill and a BHSU attack error sealed a 26-24 win for Regis University in set two.
Set three saw the Yellow Jackets limp to a 25-9 loss.
Mayer led BHSU with ten kills in the match.
The Yellow Jackets will return to action tomorrow, November 10 at Chadron State. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
