Box Score GOLDEN, Colo. – The Black Hills State University women's soccer team fell 4-0 to No. 10 Colorado Mines on Sunday afternoon.
The Orediggers, who improve to 14-2 overall and 8-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, took a quick 1-0 lead in the sixth minute of the match when Caitlin Kaltenbaugh kicked the ball from the corner right into the box where Taylor McRae was able to place the ball in the net.
CSM scored a second goal in the 20th minute and led 3-0 at halftime.
Therese Wilhelmi started and played all 90 minutes in net registering 23 saves. The 23 saves are a new season high for the freshman.
Black Hills State closes out its inaugural season on the road for its final weekend at Westminster and Colorado Mesa on October 28 and 30.Â
