SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Black Hills State University soccer team fell 10-0 to Westminster College on Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Grffiins (9-4-3, 6-3-3 RMAC) powered five first half goals beginning with the 14
th minute when Madison Roemer headed in the goal off with the assists from Libby Dearden and Jayne Christensen. In the 18
th minute, WC scored again, this time off the foot from Dearden.

Black Hills State (1-15, 0-11 RMAC) recorded its first shot of the game when
Rose Miller squared a ball up in the 41
st minute bust was saved by the Westminster goalkeeper. The Yellow Jackets connected on four total shots, including three on frame.
Abbey Person had two of the shots as
Emily Keller recorded the fourth.

Person's first shot was in the 51
st minute and went wide while Keller's came in the 66
th minute and on frame, however was saved. The final shot was in the 88
th minute when Person's second shot was a save.

As they have much of the season,
Therese Wilhelmi and
Raven Johnson split time in the box. Wilhelmi recorded eight saves as Johnson had six saves.

The Yellow Jackets close out their inaugural season on Sunday with a 1 p.m. kickoff against Colorado Mesa University.Â
