Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo. – The Black Hills State University women's soccer team fell Sunday afternoon against the Adams State Grizzlies 5-0.
The Yellow Jackets came out strong staying evenly matched with the Grizzlies keeping it at 0-0 until Adams State scored the first goal in the 25th minute to go up 1-0. Black Hills State was unable to gain momentum and respond back.
Katie Nielson tallied one shot that landed on frame while Rose Miller recorded a shot as well.
Therese Wilhelmi and Raven Johnson split the time in goal. They recorded 11 saves between the two of them.
Black Hills State falls to 1-10 on the season and 0-6 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play while Adams State University improves to 7-4 overall and 4-3 in RMAC action.
The Yellow Jackets return home to Ronnie Theisz Field on October 14 and October 16 to take on Regis and MSU Denver. Kickoff for both games is at 1 p.m.
