The Yellow Jackets came within two at 19-17, but it was not enough, as Augustana closed out the set at 25-22, and took the lead in the match, 1-0.

In the second set, the two teams traded off points until 4-all, when the Vikings, once again, went ahead by one point at 5-4. In the third and final set, Augustana jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead, until a kill by Kenzie Kazmer put the Green and Gold on the board. Trailing 9-3 in the set, the Yellow Jackets managed to reel it in and tie it up at 12. That was not enough, as Augustana's momentum was too much, and the Vikings ended the set at 25-20, and the match at 3-0.
