COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Black Hills State University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the UCCS XC Open on Saturday morning.
On the men's side, Jordan Theisen led the way for the Yellow Jackets. He finished the 8k in 25:27.5 in 25th place. Keith Osowski was 40th in 25:51.6, while Collin Brauer was 64th (26:40.9). Noah Bordewyk finished the race in 27:10.4, taking 76th. Christian Gaytan was 85th, Chase Smith was 91st, and Nolan Maher finished 94th.
For the Green and Gold women, Xiomara Robinson set the pace, placing 12th with a time of 18:54.1 for the 6k. Kelsey Van Den Hemel was 23rd in 19:28.8, and Erica Dykstra took 31st in 19:59.4. Nicole Allerdings was 38th (20:15.2) and Mayson Hudyma was 41st (20:23.0).
The Yellow Jacket harriers will next be in action at the RMAC Championships. The race on October 26 will be held in Grand Junction, Colo.
