Spearfish, SD – The Black Hills State University volleyball team will take to the road to face conference foes South Dakota School of Mines and Technology for their final road game of the regular season. Action begins at 7pm tomorrow, Friday the 15^th, in Rapid City.
 
The Yellow Jackets (11-14, 9-8 RMAC) are currently seventh in the RMAC. This season, they have struggled on the road with a 3-7 away record. However, the Green and Gold rolled SD Mines in their last meeting, winning in three sets with the largest margin of victory being 25-12. Kindra Cerrone led the attack with 13 kills. A win against SDSMT will guarantee the Yellow Jackets a spot in the RMAC conference tournament.
 
The Yellow Jackets will be looking to Peyton Bodemann to bury the Hardrockers with her serve. She sits tenth in the RMAC with 32 service aces. Haedyn Rhoades will continue to lead the defensive efforts. Her 559 digs on the season give her the second best average (5.65/set) in the league this year.
 
The Hardrockers (11-15, 7-10 RMAC) are sitting in 11^th in the conference. Mines is coming off a narrow win against Chadron State this last weekend, winning in 5 sets. They are currently 4-5 playing at home. Dana Thomson will be the player to watch as she leads Mines, and the conference, with 447 kills, averaging 4.26 a set.
