Spearfish, SD – The Black Hills State volleyball team hits the road this weekend on the start of a two week road trip to wrap up regular season play. Heading into the weekend the Yellow Jackets are 9-6 in RMAC play and currently sixth in the standings. Up first is Chadron State (7-7 in the conference) on Friday November 8
th at 7pm. This will be big match up for the Yellow jackets, a win here will keep them safe in the post season picture. On Saturday, November 9
th, the Green and Gold will take on Metro State (12-2) in Denver.

Scouting Chadron State (13-9 Overall, 7-7 RMAC)
Chadron State is currently outside looking in on the post season conference tournament. A win against BHSU will move them into a tie for 8
th place. The eagles are currently on a three match losing streaking have lost to CO Mines and CSU-Pueblo in three sets and UCCS in five. The Eagles are 7-3 at home.

Scouting Metro State (17-5 Overall, 12-2 RMAC)
Metro State currently sits in second in RMAC play and recently received votes in the national polls. The Roadrunners are coming off a split weekend having beat UCCS 3-1 and falling to CO Mines 2-3. Against CO Mines, Avaline Lai recorded 23 kills.

Scouting BHSU (11-12 Overall, 9-6 RMAC)
The Yellow Jackets are coming off a split weekend having lost to nationally ranked Regis University (10) in three sets. They came back the following night to beat CCU in five sets.
Haedyn Rhoades won her first RMAC weekly honors after averaging 8 digs a set.
