SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State University cross country team will host the 19th annual distance running camp July 24-27.
 
The camp is for high school or middle school student-athletes who desire to learn more about competitive running. It will include sessions on strength training, proper nutrition, goal setting, and motivation. There will also be a technical analysis of running form, aid in developing training plans, meet preparation and racing tactics, and a camp race.
 
The cost of the camp is $325 for a resident camper and $280 for a commuter camper. Coaches will cost $185, and if five or more campers from the same school register, the cost per camper is $310.
