SPEARFISH, S.D. – Members of the Black Hills State University rodeo teams are set for the 2019 College Nationals Finals Rodeo June 9-15. Six Yellow Jackets qualified for the rodeo, which will be held in Casper, Wyoming.
On the men's side,
Chandler Comfort and
Tucker Chytka will be competing, while
Carlee Johnston,
Alyssa Lockhart,
KeAnna Ward, and
Emilee Pauley will participate on the women's side.
Carlee Johnston will compete in goat tying, breakaway roping, and barrel racing, while Lockhart will be in breakaway roping and barrel racing. Ward and Pauley will both join Johnston in goat tying.Â

Tucker Chytka will be at the CNFR in steer wrestling.
The Yellow Jackets have not competed since May 3-4 at Dickinson State, but the teams have been practicing at Seven Down Arena preparing for Nationals.
The final four nights of the rodeo, beginning Wednesday, June 12, will be broadcast on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN App. Individual champions will be named on Saturday, June 15.
