MBB: Ten in a Row for the Yellow Jackets

Spearfish, SD –  The Black Hills State University men's basketball team took down NM Highlands University 87-83 with four scorers posting double digits. The Yellow Jackets move to 13-5 on the season and 10-2 in the RMAC. This win makes it ten in a row and keep the Green and Gold tied for first place in the conference.
 
The team kept strong control of the game and despite the close score, never were threatened. The Yellow Jackets outscored the Cowboys in both halves.  Overall, the team shot 62.7 on the night and 69.6 percent at the charity stripe.
 
Trey Whitley lead the scoring with 22 points hitting 7 of 11 field goals. Stefan Desnica posted 19 points, connecting for fifty percent of his shots from downtown, and pulled down six boards. Joel Scott hit 17 points and pulled down seven boards. Tyler Oliver also had ten points and six rebounds.

 
The Green and Gold are back in action tomorrow night. They take on CSU- Pueblo at 7:30pm.
