Pueblo, CO – The Black Hills State University men's basketball continued their streak winning their 11
th game in a row. Lead by 35 points from
Joel Scott, the Yellow Jackets downed the CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves 94 – 76 to move to 14-5 on the season and 11-2 in the RMAC.
In the first half, the Green and Gold lead the Thunderwolves 48-44. They pulled away in the second half out shooting CSUP 46-32. The Yellow Jackets had a big night from down town with over 33 percent of their shots coming from beyond the arc. They connected with the basket 62 percent of time, making 54 percent of their shots from the three point line and 66 percent of their shots from the charity stripe.
Scott had a big night dropping 35 points. He was 14 for 17 on the night hitting four three pointers and three free throws. He also pulled down six boards.
Trey Whitley also had an impressive night with 23 points shooting 10 for 13.
Tyler Oliver led the team with eight rebounds.
The Green and Gold will remain on the road next weekend as they take on Chadron State on Friday and MSU – Denver on Saturday.
