Black Hills State University is introducing its Swarm Days Sellout campaign, offering fans and supporters the opportunity to purchase virtual tickets and help support Yellow Jacket athletics.
Each year, BHSU awards over $1,000,000 in scholarships to our student athletes with a large proportion generated by ticket sales. With most 2020 fall events postponed due to COVID-19, proceeds from the campaign will go towards recouping lost funds.
"Homecoming is a special time here at Black Hills State University, and our plans for 2020 were going to be even bigger with home events originally scheduled for all of our fall programs," said Assistant Athletic Director of External Operations,
Thayer Trenhaile. "It is a time for all Yellow Jackets to come back and support their Alma Mater, and while Yellow Jacket family and friends will not be able to physically come together on Swarm Day, I am looking forward to being a part of something special."
There are three tiers of virtual tickets available, including All-Access, Suite and General Admission.
At $200 each, the purchase of an All-Access ticket will earn the buyer an on-field pass to a 2021 home football game of their choosing and a pre-game meal with the team.
At $100 each, the Suite ticket will include a printed ticket and a signed headshot of a student-athlete or coach of their choice.
At $10 each, the purchase of a General Admission ticket will include an e-mailed ticket.
