Black Hills State women's volleyball is geared up to take on Western Colorado and Fort Lewis College Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd.
 
The Yellow Jackets (5-13, 2-8 RMAC) will take on Western Colorado (9-9, 4-6 RMAC) Friday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. and Fort Lewis College (4-10, 4-6 RMAC) Saturday, October 23rd at 3:00 p.m.
 
The Yellow Jackets are coming off two weekend losses after falling to Colorado Mesa 3-1 Friday, October 15th and falling to Westminster College in straight sets Saturday, October 16th.

BHSU (5-13,2-8 RMAC) vs Western Colorado (9-9, 4-6 RMAC)
Western Colorado is currently tied for seventh in the RMAC and is on a three-game losing streak after falling to CSU Pueblo 3-1 on October 16th. Western Colorado fell to CSU Pueblo after losing set one 25-13, losing set two 30-28, winning set three 26-24, and losing set three 25-20. The last time the Yellow Jackets faced off against Western Colorado was March 28th, 2021. In that contest Western Colorado was able to secure a victory in four sets after winning set two 25-14, losing set two 25-16, winning set three 25-22, and winning set four 25-20. The last time the Yellow Jackets defeated Western Colorado was Saturday, October 19th, 2019. In that match up the Yellow Jackets defeated Western Colorado in straight sets winning 28-26, 25-17, and 25-23.

Fort Lewis College is currently tied for seventh in the RMAC and is on a one game winning streak after defeating University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in five sets Saturday, October 16th. The Skyhawks defeated UCCS after falling in set one 22-25, falling in set two 25-23, winning set three 25-18, winning set four 25-22, and winning set five 15-13 to complete the five-set come back. The last time the Yellow Jackets faced off against Fort Lewis was February 6th, 2021. In that contest the Yellow Jackets defeated the Skyhawks in four sets after losing set one 25-14, winning set two 25-12, winning set three 25-21, and winning set four 25-15.
