The Yellow Jackets struck first in the second set looking to get the momentum back in their favor; however, Adams State put together a pair of runs to get ahead early 5-2 over BHSU. The Yellow Jackets would pull even at five all before Adams State would put together another run taking the lead again by four. Adams State would hold onto that lead throughout the set taking the set two victory 25-15 over the Yellow Jackets taking a two-set lead over BHSU.

The largest lead of the set belonged the BHSU when they led by four at 18-14 after scoring five straight. Although Adams State would overcome that deficit a kill by Jessica Crane would seal the set four victory and set up a fifth set for the Yellow Jackets to try to complete their come back.
