Black Hills State volleyball is set to host Colorado Christian University and Metropolitan State University of Denver this weekend in the Donald E Young Center.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a tough five set loss to Regis University at home where they lost set one 25-18, won set two 27-25, lost set three 25-18, won set four 25-17, and lost set five 15-12.
Madison Hoopman recorded 20 kills throughout play while also snagging a block.
Sierra Ward was also a wall at the net with five blocks and 11 kills.

Colorado Christian is also coming off a five-set loss. The Cougars lost to Colorado Mesa in five sets after winning set one and two the Cougars went on to lose the next three sets to fall 3-2 to Colorado Mesa. The Yellow Jackets and the Cougars last faced off in March in Colorado. In that contest BHSU fell 3-1 to the Cougars after losing set one 25-13, losing set two 25-18, winning set three 25-23, and losing set four 25-17.

The Roadrunners are currently undefeated in the RMAC and ranked number two in the nation. Most recently the Roadrunners defeated the Westminster Griffens in straight sets winning set one 25-16, set two 25-18, and set three 25-12. Last season the Yellow Jackets took on the Roadrunners in their first match of the season. BHSU fell to MSUD in straight sets falling 25-14, 25-22, and 25-19.
