Black Hills State soccer continues its season this weekend, heading to Colorado to take on CSU Pueblo and No. 12 UC Colorado Springs.
"We are in the middle of a really challenging run of games," said Head Coach
Andrew Conniff. "This is part of what makes the RMAC so fun. On Friday we will play last season's RMAC Champions in CSU Pueblo, then turn around to play ranked 12th in the country UCCS on Sunday."
The Yellow Jackets (2-5, 1-3 RMAC) will face CSU Pueblo on Friday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. and then goes head-to-head with UCCS on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m.

BHSU (2-5-0) at CSU Pueblo (4-4-1)
Coming off a season which saw them win the RMAC Tournament, the Thunderwolves are undefeated so far this season in conference play at 3-0-1 (4-4-1 overall).
These two programs have met four times before, with their last meeting on Oct. 11, 2019. The Yellow Jackets will be looking for their first win over CSU Pueblo.

BHSU (2-5-0) at No. 12 UCCS (8-2)
UCCS women's soccer was ranked 12th nationally heading into the weekend, sporting an 8-2 overall record, and 3-1 RMAC record with a loss to Colorado Mesa.
BHSU and UCCS have faced five times before since their first meeting in 2016. The Yellow Jackets will be looking for their first victory over UCCS.
Who Stands Out
"I want to mention two freshmen that have really impressed this season," said Conniff. "Goalkeeper
Makayla Dannelly has taken on a ton of responsibility and has performed incredibly well.
"Meanwhile, freshman forward
Haley Hesselgesser has brought real quality in attack. Hesselgesser picked up her second assist of the season against Regis and leads the team in that category."
