Black Hills State University has announced it has opened its search for a new Director of Athletics.

University President Laurie Stenberg Nichols has appointed a search committee for this position which includes a diverse group of individuals who have knowledge and passion for BHSU Athletics. Kathy Johnson, VP for Finance and Administration, and Jade Temple, Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance will co-chair the committee.

The committee is planning to bring a group of finalists to campus for interviews in April and make an announcement on the new Director of Athletics by May 1.

Dr. Kurt Patberg, Senior Vice President of Athletics Staffing and Consultants, has been secured to execute the search.
