The Black Hills State University track and field teams are geared up to host their third home meet of the indoor season, The Yellow Jacket Open.

The Jackets have begun the indoor season with much success with three athletes provisionally qualified in five events so far this season and the team looks to continue their successes in this competition.
 
The Yellow Jacket Open will begin at 12:30 P.M. Saturday February 13^th. Field Events start off the meet with the women competing in the shot put and high jump followed by the men. While the men compete in the long jump and pole vault to start off the meet followed by the women. The weight throw will begin once shot put has wrapped up with the women followed by the men and triple jump will begin following long jump with the men followed by the women.
 
Running events will begin at 2:00 P.M. starting with the women's 5K and will continue on a rolling schedule. Compete running schedule is attached.
 
Finals will be run on all events with 9 or more athletes competing in prelims. The top eight finishers will move on to finals.
 
Four distance athletes will be competing at the SDSU Indoor Classic Track and Field Meet this weekend those athletes include Xiomara Robinson, Ruby Lindquist, Keith Osowski, and Matt Parker.
