Black Hills State soccer hosts its first RMAC matches of the season this weekend, taking on Colorado Mines and Regis at Ronnie Theisz Field.
The Yellow Jackets will face Mines on Friday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. before returning to the pitch on Sunday, Oct. 3 to take on Regis at 11 a.m.

Haley Hesselgesser, two freshmen, saw the Yellow Jackets defeat CCU. The team also had its first clean sheet of the season in the match which is a huge mark of progress for the defenders, who have now held the opposition scoreless in four of the 10 halves of soccer played this season.
Emma Avery goes into this weekend in the top 10 in the RMAC in shots, goals, and points.
"We have two difficult matchups ahead as we face Colorado Mines and Regis," said head coach
Andrew Conniff. "Both programs come into the weekend with winning records and both opened this RMAC season with two wins. We are still growing and I believe we are better today than we were yesterday. We look forward to the challenge this weekend presents."

The Orediggers are coming off a 2-0 start to RMAC play after defeating Adams State and New Mexico Highlands last weekend
BHSU and CSM have faced five times before since their first meeting in 2016. The Yellow Jackets will be looking for their first victory over CSM.

Regis also started its RMAC schedule 2-0 last weekend, earning victories over New Mexico Highlands and Adams State.
These two programs have met six times before, including twice last season. The Yellow Jackets will be looking for their first win over Regis.
