The RMAC volleyball regular season ends this weekend as Black Hills State volleyball prepares for their final two games of the 2022 season.
Â
The Yellow Jackets' first road stop will be in Golden, Colorado to take on the No. 22 Colorado School of Mines Orediggers on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. Their final match will see them in Chadron, Nebraska to face the Chadron State Eagles on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.
Â
BHSU hits the road coming off their final home contests of the season where they went up against the UCCS Mountain Lions (L, 3-0) and (RV) CSU Pueblo (L, 3-0) last weekend. The Yellow Jackets will look to finish strong on the road to put 2022 to rest on a high note.

Yellow Jackets (4-20, 3-13 RMAC) at No. 22 Orediggers (18-6, 13-3 RMAC)
CSMT, currently sitting at the fourth seed in the RMAC playoff picture, heads into this weekend off a win and loss in their road trips last week in games that saw them sweep Westminster in three straight, then fall to the No. 19 nationally ranked, and RMAC second seed, Colorado Mesa in three sets.
Â
The Orediggers played strong volleyball in both games and will be a tough matchup for the Yellow Jackets, but their last encounter was a hard-fought match on both sides of the net. Earlier in the season on Sept. 17, BHSU nearly forced a fifth set after winning in set three 25-17, then only dropping the fourth set by three points.
Â
Madison Hoopman hit a season high 21 kills against the Orediggers in their last match, with the team notching their third highest total block count this season as well.

Yellow Jackets (4-20, 3-13 RMAC) at Chadron State (7-18, 5-11 RMAC)
Since these two squads last faced off in Spearfish on Sept. 16, which saw the Eagles take the win in the fifth set, CSC has gone 3-11. In their last six games, which included two home and four away contests, the Eagles played tough opponents, dropping all six matches in three straight. Â
Â
The Eagles are looking to rally back on their home turf and knock off South Dakota Mines on Friday before turning their attention to BHSU on Saturday night.
Â
The Yellow Jackets played well from the service line in their last contest against Chadron State, securing 11 service aces against the Eagles in that game. As a team, BHSU recorded 89 digs and 9 total blocks in the contest to hold the CSC offense to a .150 clip.
